Technical Key Account Manager


Our client is an exciting player in the global Video, IPTV and OTT Consultancy and Services market.

This role is primarily to be working with Sky as a key account. Being based within commutable distance to Sky HQ (at least once a week) is desirable.


Skill set/ experience of Key Account Manager


· Technical background (preferred)

· Previous experience managing Sky as an account (preferred), or other major service providers

· Experience across UK and wider European broadcast markets

· Key client experience with any of Sky, LGi, Vodafone, Telenor, BT, Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica etc

· Engineering or Economics University Degree preferred

· Will ideally have STB, CAS, DRM, Video SaaS, IPTV, Video Services or

OTT/ VOD sales or account management experience

· Desirable to have worked in professional services and have an appreciation of service rather than product selling


Responsibilities of KAM


· Sales of Video, OTT, Cloud and video technology development services to prospective clients

and partners globally

· Managing Sky as a key account

· Prospect new business and projects, approaching new and existing clients - a hands on

approach of presentations & demos

· Drive the sales & commercial strategy & given input to the product strategy

· Leading of the early technical engagement with clients such as identification of

technical requirements and scoping of product/service

· Account management of client relationships
