Our client is a key player in the video technology market providing video solutions for partners worldwide. They are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer with the curiosity to learn and a passion to connect technology with business needs. Experience within the video content delivery industry and a customer focused mindset would be required.
Responsibilities
Being technical expert for the clients Video Network portfolio, providing support and guidance to the customer
Working with Sales Executives to create objectives and deliver solutions to reseller as well as customers
Coming up with technical win strategies from both a technology and business perspective
Taking the lead with deals and moving through the sales process, knowing when to push and showcase the technology portfolio
Spearheading Customer Proof-of-Concepts opportunities by working closely with other Video Network departments
Learning about and demonstrating the benefits and ROI of the the companies video solutions to customers
Developing the technical response to RFPs and approach for the proposal, including solutions, products, services and software
Keeping up with product roadmaps, giving feedback and providing inputs to Product Management
Maintaining and developing relationships with key resellers as well as understanding the value of their services, technology and vertical propositions
Desired Skills
Extensive knowledge of Network products and Video Processing as well as solutions, and workflows, including Primary Distribution, Content Distribution Networks (CDN) and Converged Head-Ends
Extensive knowledge of cloud deployment technologies (i.e. AWS, GCP, K8s orchestration, Azure) as well as video and audio compression
Ability to create demos and/or Proof of Concepts specific to each client to explain the benefits for them
Strong business acumen with a proven track record at translating customer pain points into technical solutions
Clear and precise written and verbal communications skills along with strong presentation and time management skills
Willingness to teach and train resellers as well as the wider sales force, including Pre-Sales Engineering colleagues
