About the role
As Account Manager you will carry responsibility for commercial management and growth of your accounts and sales directors.
You will be responsible for increasing orders and revenue in North America with broadcast and media accounts. You will be a manager & coach and spend a significant amount of time meeting in person with local TV stations and their technical broadcast engineering teams as well as mentoring sales directors on your team. Therefore, a willingness to travel within the USA for those meetings is required.
- Gain a strong portfolio knowledge their products and how to sell and manage them with key accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities for new sales with customers, qualify these and track their progress using Salesforce.
- Mentor and train sales team members
- Strategic account planning for yourself and your team.
- Identify business actions by calling on Product Line Managers as well as Channel Partner manager and product marketing.
- Ensure key customers are up to date about the product range and Solutions they provide
- Feedback to the Product Line on market trends and competitive information
- Attend and exhibit at trade shows
- More than 5 years of broadcast media playout and network sales experience
- 5+ years managing quota
- Proven ability to grow the business with your assigned accounts
- Drive and strong relationship development skills.
