Required Experience for Sales Analyst
- 3 + years analytical experience supporting a Sales Org within a Technology industry
- Highly competent with Salesforce
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysing, presenting, and communicating both verbal and in written format
- MBA qualified or strong Sales and/or Finance accounting background including an understanding of Cash Flow
- Exposure within a Commercial environment
- Self-directed, results orientated, with a high delivery and service focus
- Experience working for a technology company (preferably cloud/ Saas/ software)
Responsibilities of Sales Analyst
- Preparation and updating weekly sales forecast review materials
- Identify credit issues on new large orders in advance and work with Credit Management to minimise and resolve issues and disputes
- Preparation and updating monthly and quarterly sales forecasts for review
- Compile regional sales reports including but not limited to cash flow, orders, revenues, & discounts
- Review contract/SOW terms & conditions and identify pricing irregularities or concerns
- Identify revenue recognition issues and collaborate with the Revenue Accounting team to resolve
- Provide costing and margin analysis to senior leaders as needed
- Collaborate with the Finance /Order Management team to ensure accurate commission calculations
- Track order flow information for analysis
