The ideal candidate for Pre-Sales Consultant:
Bachelor’s degree, equivalent or related experience
3 to 5 years’ experience working in a Pre-Sales or Technical Customer Support role in the broadcast or pay TV industry, including audio, video and telecommunications
Understanding of IP media networking, Video Processing, and Video Network solutions
Working knowledge of IP routing/switching protocols and architectures, both on-prem and in the cloud
Basic working knowledge of workflow in a live broadcast environment (broadcast automation and playout servers)
Purpose of Sales Engineer:
As a solutions-oriented Pre-Sales Consultant, your responsibilities will include handling Pre-sales requirements and supporting post-Sales service delivery. This individual will work in close cooperation with the Sales Directors, Solution Architects, and Professional Services organization. The focus not only will be customer-facing but also liaising with product line management.
Responsibilities of Pre-Sales Engineer:
Acting as the technical expert for our client’s Video Network portfolio
Working closely with Sales Executives to assist customers and resellers
Identifying commercial opportunities from a business and technology perspective
Spearheading deals moving through the sales process
Developing the technical response to RFPs
Providing inputs to Product Management for critical features
