Our client is a trusted technology provider for video delivery. Their impressive portfolio includes intelligence-led anti-piracy, broadband and streaming video platforms, advanced advertising, and video network cloud and software solutions.
The Director of Broadcaster Sales role focuses on media companies in the North American market. Their main distribution market is changing from satellite distribution to IP distribution. They are looking for an individual with excellent relationships in this niche and a deep understanding of the market to drive this distribution transition, as well as the SAAS transition in the streaming market.
The ideal candidate profile
6 years + of sales experience – Broadcast or OTT highly desirable.
Ideally the candidate has direct experience with headend, encryption, CDN, Cloud, scrambling, On-Prem, DTT
Great network in customers such as Paramount, Sinclair, Encompass, Fox, Warner Discovery, NFL, NBA etc.
Experience with the transition of traditional broadcast methodologies to modern SaaS workflows.
Technically savvy and able to educate, challenge and lead customers through transitions
Execution of Regional Account strategy, including reporting, consultative selling approach, prospecting, cold calling, networking etc.
Knowledge of competitor market and products and ability to leverage this knowledge
Team up with Pre-Sales and Regional/Global Executives to satisfy client requests and expectations
