Our client is a key player in the video and broadcast technology market creating end-to-end media software and networking solutions for thousands of customers worldwide. They are for a self motivated and team-oriented Pre-Sales Consultant to present and design a solution of their Broadcasting and IP Production products to customers in the region.
About the role
• Guide customers and channel partners in South East Asia on both a technical and commercial level.
• Prepare and engage in customer meetings and presentation
• Take part in the sales process by working on sales activities including tender review, sales quote, and proposal submission
• Communicate and document equipment requirements including BOMs, SOW and system drawing
• Conduct practical ‘’hands on’’ client proof-of-concepts demonstrations as well as training
• Take on role as technical lead and consultant in customer projects
• Liaise with the Sales Directors, Professional Services, Solution Architects and Product Line managers
• Assist with trade show preparation and set up
• Identify opportunities and manage activities based on the sales funnel and work closely with sales team to achieve sales targets
• Regular travel (up to 50%) in the region is to be expected
About you
• BA degree in Computing Science, Electrical Engineering or or Audio-visual Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a Pre-Sales or Technical Customer Support role within the broadcast industry or experience from audio and video, telecommunications
• Comprehension of Fiber Transport Stream Processing, IP media networking, and Software defined Network solutions
• Working knowledge of architectures, IP routing/switching protocols, storage protocols and technologies, virtualized and cloud-based IT solutions and architectures
• Knowledge of router control and distribution system and Signal processing modular products
• Knowledge of with broadcast automation and playout servers
• Self motivated attitude to work but also working well in a team
• Strong customer service orientation
