Our client designs and produces video delivery components for the broadcast and streaming market. Their technologies support the delivery of entertainment over managed networks and the internet.
The Associate Director APAC Presales works closely with the regional sales team to secure and develop strategic sales opportunities for existing customers, new clients and new market segments. They are also responsible for providing demonstrations of the portfolio to customers in the APAC region. This includes installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging complex system problems on Proof-of-Concepts involving the companies and associated equipment. These demonstrations will happen on the premises of a client, on show floors or directly in the cloud.
The role requires close relationship management with external customers and partners as well as teamwork with the specialists in the companies internal Engineering, Operations, Sales and Marketing departments. Travel within the APAC region is essential.
Support Sales by interfacing with current and potential customers to determine their technical requirements and to discuss and develop complex technical solutions.
Respond timely to customer questions, RFIs and RFPs. Make sure to develop strong relationships with key technical players in the account.
Support Sales activities on a technical level at conferences and exhibitions. This includes the planning phase, the setup and demonstrations.
Manage the handover with the operations team together with Sales and Professional Services to ensure that there are no technical uncertainties.
Support the Operations team by fully understanding the ecosystem designed to answer the client expectations from a solution architect point of view.
Take ownership and act as the interface between the Customer and your company's departments to resolve complex technical sales issues.
Provide feedback from customers to the Marketing and Engineering departments to enhance products and relationships.
Assist with business development efforts and strategic relationships.
Prepare and deliver detailed product demonstrations as well as technical presentations to prospect clients.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
University degree in computer science, electronic engineering or telecommunications
5-10 years of relevant and progressive experience with a proven track record in complex software, services and solution selling market
Experience in the Broadcast and /or Telco markets is desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong business mind, analysis/problem solving, negotiation and collaboration skills.
Languages: English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus.
