Our client is a key player in the Video delivery and OTT and technology markets. They deliver their technology to more than 200 clients including major broadcasters, sports, and live-event venues.
About the role
As an Account Manager you will carry responsibility for commercial management and growth of assigned accounts.
You will have the strategic responsibility with broadcast accounts and a lot of your time will be spent meeting onsite with local TV stations and their technical broadcast engineering teams. Therefore, any candidate needs to be willing to travel within the USA and spend a significant amount of time meeting with media and broadcast clients.
- Strong portfolio knowledge of their products and how to position them with key accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities for new sales and track their progress using Salesforce.
- Identify actions that should be taken to generate business by calling on Product Line Managers and other support
- Lead generation and outbound phone calling
- Make sure key customers are kept up to date on the range of products and solutions
- Provide feedback to the Product Line on market trends and competitive information as appropriate
- Attend and exhibit at trade shows as required
- 2+ years of broadcast media sales experience
- Proven record of growing business with specified accounts
- Drive coupled with strong relationship development skills.
- Experience in solution selling and understanding customer needs.
